Week 5 of Web 2.0
I can definately see the benefit of wikis, as shown in the "wikis in plain english clip", rather than emailing backwards and forward. I think it would be great for the library when organising events and everyones imput is needed for suggestions and ideas.
I found posting a comment on wetpaint confusing! I couldn't find the "easy edit" button, but tried to add a comment by starting a new thread, as I saw the thread posted by " wellidclare". When I tried to post my comment it just sat there and sat there....I even made a coffee and snack and it still hadn't posted! I tried again and then realised I had been disconnected from my wireless connection, so third time lucky, I managed to post it! I then found "easy edit" after posting the comment and navigating on the Learning 2.0 Basics wiki page! Anyway, my comment was still there as a thread (and hopefully still is) and as I have spent over 2 hours on this, I decided to stop and write up this blog.
How sad are we, sitting at the computer on a public holiday! Anyway, well done. You seem to have coped better than me with the wikis. I'm afraid, in the end, I gave up on wetpaint. Does that mean I might fail the course? Enjoy the rest of your well-deserved break.
ReplyDeleteWell done for perservering :P
ReplyDeleteI do find that the course does test my patience!
